Recordings:
We have a wealth of recorded audio materials available for children and  adults. You can check out classical music, jazz, folk, pop, Broadway musicals on  audio tapes and compact discs. We are also expanding the size of our popular  collection of abridged and full-length books on tape.

Magazines and Newspapers:
The Field Library now subscribes to over 290 nationally known  magazines, including children's, business, scientific, sports, hobbyist and  general interest magazines. In addition, 16 newspapers are received regularly by  the library, including local area and state newspapers, as well as major  national papers and business journals. Our periodical holdings are in microfilm,  microfiche, online and CD-ROM formats.

Interlibrary Loan Service:
The Field Library is a member of the Westchester Library System, a  county-wide network of public and academic libraries. Several million items are  available to you under this cooperative program. If you need a book that is not  in our collection, we can usually send out a request and have it for you in a  week or so. If the book you requested is not in our system, we can reach out to  the metropolitan New York area, the New York State Library, and beyond.

Photocopy/Fax Service:
The library has one photocopy machine available for public use. Materials may  be copied (subject to copyright restrictions) for a charge of $.15 per page. We also have four microfilm and microfiche reader-printers; copies are $.15 cents  per page. Reference librarians will send and receive fax materials for the  public upon request; the charges are $2.00 for the first page, and $1.00 for  each additional page.

Homebound Services:
For those persons in the City of Peekskill and Town of Cortlandt area who are unable to come to the library due to physical disabilities, we will select books of  their choice and deliver them.  Please call 737-1212 to arrange for delivery.
