A world premiere at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, the contemporary drama Pariah is the feature-length expansion of writer/director Dee Rees’ award-winning 2007 short film Pariah. Spike Lee is among the feature’s executive producers. At Sundance, cinematographer Bradford Young was honored with the [U.S. Dramatic Competition] Excellence in Cinematography Award.

This series aims to provide information on numerous topics related to race relations and to offer a safe place to share experiences regarding racism, educate ourselves with facts and research about racism, and build relationships so we can support each other’s efforts to accept others without prejudice and arise to transform our community. Each month we will examine the various manifestations of racism and explore potential solutions.
