The Field Library is offering a FREE, 12 week conversational Spanish class taught by Professor Naicy Pretill of Westchester Community College/ SUNY Purchase. Classes are Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8 pm, starting November 7, 2018, and culminate with a party on February 6 ,2019 where students will practice their skills with our Conversational English class!

Movie Mondays: ALPHA

Young Keda tries to survive alone in the wilderness after he's left for dead during his first hunt with his Cro-Magnon tribe. A monthly series to learn about and to discuss racism and racial bias. This series aims to provide information on numerous topics related to race relations and to offer a safe place to share experiences regarding racism, educate ourselves with facts and research about racism, and build relationships so we can support each other’s efforts to accept others without prejudice and arise to transform our community. Each month we will examine the various manifestations of racism and explore potential solutions.
