Free Music Downloads
Field Library registered cardholders now have access to Freegal, a continually updated music service with hundreds of thousands of songs from Sony Music's catalog of legendary artists.
        Now, you can download three Sony Music tracks in the MP3 format each week at no direct cost.
        Visit the library's website once a week (or bookmark the link), and get three songs each time for a total of 156 songs a year! The music is yours to keep and the songs never expire.
        There is no special download software to install on your computer, and the songs will play on any MP3 player, including an iPod, and can be loaded onto iTunes. It is compatible with both PCs and Macs.
        Here's how it works:
Sign onto the Freegal site with your Field Library barcode & pin.
F Browse the Artist A-Z list or the various genre lists, and find a song you like by listening to a sample.
F You can download up to three songs per week.
F The library has a limited number of weekly downloads, so you may occasionally need to wait for this service.
F You can queue up future downloads with "My Wishlist," located in the upper right hand corner of the site.
