Narcan Training: Be Prepared. Save a Life.

Join us for a FREE Narcan training session about the life-saving antidote to opioid overdose AND discuss perspectives on how the opioid epidemic is impacting communities of color; hear personal stories from those on recovery journey.
Guest Trainer & Speaker: Crystal Marr, LCSWR, CASAC from Hudson River HealthCare

Participants can expect to learn the following:

Signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose;
Steps in how to respond to an overdose and how to administer Narcan;
Benefits of the NYS 911 Good Samaritan Law and the importance of calling emergency medical services.

Pre-registration is required as Narcan kits (also known as Naloxone) will be made available to each participant and light snacks will be provided. Follow ticket link to register. Program is FREE.
