Rich Zahradnik is the Shamus Award-winning author of the critically acclaimed Coleridge Taylor Mystery series. Lights Out Summer won the 2018 Shamus Award for Best Paperback Private Eye Novel. The first three books in the series were shortlisted or won awards in the three major competitions for books from independent presses.  Mr. Zahradnik started his journalism career in Peekskill, NY, and was co-founder of The Peekskill Herald.
