Friends of The Field Library is seeking your help!

The mission of the Friends of The Field Library is to assist in providing private financial support and advocacy for the library, which serves as a cultural and intellectual center of the City of Peekskill. The Friends of the Field Library meets on the third Thursday of the month at 7 pm.

Chester A. Smith, a Peekskill resident, founded The Friendly Town Association, helped lead Peekskill’s evolution from a village to a City and was instrumental in securing the library’s move to South Street from Smith Street in 1924.
