The History I Learned from Bugs Bunny and Cartoons

In this special virtual presentation, Denny Daniel of The Museum of Interesting Things will discuss the history of one of America's most beloved cartoon characters: Bugs Bunny.

We learned so much from Bugs Bunny and cartoons as kids that we do not always realize. From classical music to opera to the war rations program of World War II so many nuggets of cultural and historic information were slipped into these animations. In this virtual presentation, film clips will be shown of various cartoons depicting Bugs Bunny and other Looney Tunes characters. In between films, experience the history of film, photography, and animation too using the Museum's historic antiques to tell the story. When it is done you will know what's up Doc!
