Pattern Seeking: Rockscapes, Peoplescapes, and Driftwood Configurations: An Exhibit by James Sparks

The Field Library Art Gallery will be reopening for in-person viewing and will be hosting an exhibit called Pattern Seeking: Rockscapes, Peoplescapes, and Driftwood Configurations by local artist James Sparks.

The exhibit will be available for viewing from September 18th until October 23rd.

A reception will be held on Saturday, September 25th from 2 to 4 PM.

Please be advised that masks are required for all visitors to the library and the gallery regardless of vaccination status.

James Sparks is an artist and educator who began teaching in 1974 at the University of San Diego (setting up their first Photography program in addition to teaching Drawing and Painting classes). Since 2002, James has been an Adjunct Professor at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale, NY teaching a variety of Fine Arts classes.
