In this special virtual workshop, led by Ms. Lisa Shirley, you will learn how to spot misinformation in the media, sponsored content, opinion pieces, and biased reporting. Learn how to read critically and use resources on the web for fact-checking. Don't let misinformation or false advertising lead you astray!

About The Presenter:

Ms. Lisa Shirley has a Master of Fine Arts in writing and poetry from Sarah Lawrence College and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Arizona. She is a Reference Librarian at the Warner of Library of Tarrytown.
